Applications

Custom applications, delivered to production standard.

Who it’s for

You need an application, either for your customers covering ordering, loyalty or booking, or for your team to replace a spreadsheet or a manual process, and you do not have in-house engineering capacity to deliver it.

What we deliver

  • Customer-facing mobile applications, from prototype through to a live store listing
  • Internal tools that replace manual, spreadsheet-driven processes
  • The full delivery path, covering design, build, store submission and the operational detail that derails a first launch

Engagement

How a project runs, stage by stage.

Shipping an application is mostly the parts nobody warns you about. This is the full path, including the stages that catch first-time launches out.

  1. Discovery

We define what the application has to do, who uses it, and which parts genuinely need to exist in version one. The output is a scoped feature set and a realistic delivery estimate.

  2. Product design

Screen flows and interface design for the paths that matter, reviewed with you before engineering begins. Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake available.

  3. Development

The application is built, typically once for both Android and iOS from a shared codebase, with the backend and data model built alongside it.

  4. Integrations

Payments, authentication, notifications, analytics, and connections into whatever systems you already run. Third-party integration is usually where timelines slip, so it is scoped explicitly rather than assumed.

  5. Quality assurance

Testing on real devices across screen sizes and operating system versions, not only in a simulator. Crash reporting is configured before launch, not after the first incident.

  6. Store listing and review

Store copy, screenshots, icons, age ratings, data safety declarations and privacy policy hosting. We prepare the submission and handle the review process, including rejections, which are common on a first attempt.

  7. Launch

Staged rollout so problems surface on a small percentage of users first, with monitoring in place from the first release.

  8. Post-launch support

Crash triage, operating system version updates, store policy changes, and the subsequent releases. An application is a commitment, not a delivery.

Scope

What we can take on.

If your situation is not listed here, it is still worth asking. These are the areas we work in most often.

Applications we build

  • Customer applications: ordering, loyalty, booking
  • Internal tools replacing spreadsheet processes
  • Field and operations applications
  • Companion applications to a system you already run
  • Web applications and admin dashboards

Engineering

  • Cross-platform Android and iOS from a shared codebase
  • Backend services, APIs and data modelling
  • Offline-first behaviour and synchronisation
  • Push notifications and deep linking
  • Payments, authentication and analytics integration
  • Role-based access and admin tooling

Release and operations

  • Store listing preparation and asset production
  • App review submission and rejection handling
  • Privacy policy and data safety declarations
  • Staged rollouts and version management
  • Crash reporting and post-launch fixes

Delivery

Platforms we ship to

Android

Delivered and published to Google Play

iOS

Delivered and submitted to the App Store

Web

Browser-based applications and admin dashboards

Internal tools

Staff-facing systems that never reach a public store

Technologies we build with

  • React Native
  • Expo
  • TypeScript
  • Firebase
  • Next.js
  • Vercel

Evidence, not assertions

Client engagements are held to the same standard as our own products. Chronicles of Shadow is live on Google Play, having been through store review, age rating, data safety declarations and staged release. Soundbite is in active development. Both were designed, built and shipped by TableTurns Labs.
